HydroPort® Wales/Cymru is an

award-winning concept for a unique

Green Container Port, development zone and integrated infrastructure - exploiting South Wales’ natural and abundant maritime assets to generate clean energy. 

Capable of taking the largest E Class Container Ships,  operated entirely from clean renewable energy, HydroPort® Wales/Cymru will be the most  environmentally sustainable port in the world.

 

Creating a transformational opportunity

for the South Wales Region - delivering Sustainable Economic Development and major Environmental Benefits.

 

Mitigating Climate change, protecting biodiversity, Providing Food/Energy Security and energy transition.

 

A number of locations in the South Wales Region would enable the world’s greenest port to be built.  Establishing a global, clean energy supply chain, acting as a catalyst for the development of a unique ‘Green Energy Economic Zone’.
